Officially opened 49 years ago, the museum exhibits some of the most interesting and rare land transport vehicles used in Southern Africa. The displays take you through time, showing advancements in modes of transport, technological changes of the internal combustion engine that invoke an opening to the future. A further journey on transport and notable milestones from 1900 to the present day is displayed in the North Hall in the form of a time line, depicting South Africa’s changes with significant themes and memories. Out-reach Programmes: The Mobile ECD Bus operates on a daily basis and can be booked through the Education Department of the museum. It hosts five specific themes, all of which are related to the GDE Curriculum. The museum also provides specific theme-related talks for schools, clubs and/or interest groups. These can be booked through the curator of the museum. Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again. Sorry, unable to load Google Maps API.No Records Found
