Maboneng 2.0 is an interactive exhibition to be launched on 1 November at Arts on Main.The exhibition is a reflection of the growth of and future plans for Maboneng.

With a total of 25 buildings in the property portfolio to be developed as part of The Maboneng Precinct, Propertuity together with Architects, Daffonchio and Associates and Urban Works architecture and urbanism, have designed a comprehensive plan for the evolving neighbourhood, optimising the use of public spaces and connecting existingregeneration efforts.

“Maboneng 2.0 is an important step in the evolution of Maboneng becoming a connectedurban neighbourhood: the culmination of 5 years of development that is the foundation toward a further considered expansion plan. The exhibition aims to share the vision withthe Johannesburg community, as well as encourage participation in a shared urban future”, says Jonathan Liebmann, founder and CEO of Propertuity.

While engaging with this interactive exhibition, expect to find out more about how and where we plan to implement interventions in Maboneng as well as discover some new properties and plans for the future of the area.

Also on the evening, we celebrate our 100th Market on Main, with the “Night of 100markets” night market. The exhibition will also extend throughout the neighbourhood withmany of the intervention sites already activated. Also, expect live music on Kruger andBerea streets, live street art as well as lighting instillations and special surprises from ourretailers.

• Exhibition opens: 1 November at 6: 30pm at Arts on Main
• Exhibition runs from 2 November - 8 November at Arts on Main, thereafter it will be moved to the Main Street Life entrance gallery.
